It all started in the
1990's as a fusion of punk and heavy metal/thrash with a
healthy dose of goth. Inspiration would come from the strangest
of things such as comic books / graphic novels, films, tv, nightmares,
lucid dreams, literature, random thoughts, etc... A lot was written during this time, many of which was lost due to
constant moving, but mostly because much of these never made it to
paper - but remained instead just in the artist's head.
The late 1990's to early 2000 brought about a significant change
in the artist's music. Discovering that music need not be
guitar-driven to be loud, in fact realizing that music need not be
"musical" at all. The artist began researching more and
more. Finally getting to listen to artists which in the past can only
be read in magazines - through the
magic of the world wide web which was fairly new then. It was
around this time that [Neu Futurista:Auditori]
was conceived. Heavily inspired by articles regarding the Italian
futurists of the early 1900's, to the electronic experimentations of
musique concrete, and the sonic bombardment of the early industrial
scene. [NF:A] set out to create music that was experimental, beautiful and strange.
Early recordings started in 2003 but not a lot has been made. Of
these recordings, only three demos were printed on tape and were very poor in quality. The rest
were erased by the studio where the demos were made and were not
properly archived. Recordings were again started in 2005 at a
different studio, being more prolific this time and more knowledgable
of the studio as a tool.
In early 2007, due to a shift in musical direction, the name was changed to [Fluxu§yndrom] in reference to the Fluxus art movement of the 1960's. And the rest, as they say, is history...
